Vectors of Collective Imagination Through Peripheral Visions

Friday, November 08th, 2024

From 18-20h

Talk and presentation: Zoran Pantelić and kuda.org (And Others) with editor/associate Darija Medić and graphic designer Marina Milanović

‘Vectors of collective imagination through peripheral visions’ is a unified horizon of aspirations and activities of kuda.org, expressed through several artistic research cases.

Join us at FLU Gallery for this talk and presentation to activate kuda.org’s Peripheral Visions Cards for collectives on the semi- periphery. 'Peripheral Visions Cards' is an interactive board game - a box set of narrative cards with poetic instructions developed by collectives for collectives as a companion in collaborative creative processes. The box set is available for visitors to browse or use, on the ‘And Others’ table at FLU Gallery.

Through the concept of collective creation, and the questioning of organising, we return again and again to the emancipatory notion of collective imagination through peripheral visions: questioning the challenge that the new political geography of Europe poses to the collective imagination, marked by the refugee crisis, economic inequalities and growing illiberalism, and decolonial points of view.

Combining a range of media into low tech participatory interventions, she creates collective processes for sensitizing politically laden points behind the space where technical mediation and prosumer habituation meet. She is currently a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Digital Design in the Department of Visual Arts at the College of Arts & Media, University of Colorado Denver. She is also a lecturer at the SHIFTA Creative Computing Master program. @d4rm4r
