Tania Gorucheva, historian and curator of media art, coordinator of Moscow Media art lab since 1998. Lives and works in Moscow. Curator at the art media center "TV Gallery" in 1999-2001. Co-editor and author of two chapters for the "Anthology of Russian Video Art". Coordinator of Media Forum 2000-2002 and co-corator of the international conference on distribution of media art "Access to Excess" 2001 in the frame of the Moscow international film festival coordinator of "pro&contra" international simposium on new media in contemporary culture, 2000. Coordinator of the festival of russian resources on contemporary art and culture 'da-da-net'. Co-curator of the net art festival 'Trashart' in 1998-1999.

Tania Gorucheva presented some of the most important acters in contemporary media art scene in Russia, as well as production of Moscow Media Art Lab, read_me festival, etc. She implicated wider social and cultural aspect of raising, conceptual bases of developing and, specially, thorough overwiev of art scene in Russia during '90, 2001 and 2002. Tania has stressed specifique conditions of development of art scene, its technological and ideal context, as well as initiatives and events which has contributed its development.
