Within the exhibition in Belgrade, two segments will be presented:
exhibitions TV Gallery and The Case of SKC during the 1970s
"Political Practices of (Post-) Yugoslav Art" is a platform dedicated to multidisciplinary research, mapping, and analysis of historical, socio-political, and economic conditions leading to today's constellation of artistic practices, intellectual and cultural production in the post-socialist space of the former Yugoslavia today defined as " Southeast Europe ", ie" Western Balkans ".
The project was initiated by four organizations:

Within the exhibition in Belgrade, two segments will be presented:

TV GALLERY
Curator and art historian Dunja Blažević, under whose leadership the Gallery of the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade profiled itself in the 1970s in a space open to artistic experiments, new media, and critical perspective, 1981 she began working as an editor in the Culture Department of Television Belgrade. Since 1981, he has been editing articles on contemporary art in the show "Petkom u 22" and has started editing a series of shows called "Druga umetnost". This series grew into a regular monthly show called "TV Gallery", which was broadcast on the Yugoslav network until 1991. "TV Gallery" is a socially engaged artistic and curatorial media practice. To this day, it remains an unattainable model of the concept of public television, and an important document on the relationship between art and public media in the context of culture, cultural policy, and cultural practices in the 1980s.
The shows were provided from the archives of Radio Television Belgrade.

THE SKC CASE OF THE 1970s
The exhibition of documents, photographs, texts, films, testimonies, and research notes "The Case of the SKC in the 1970s" represents the initial phase in the research of key aspects of the general constellation of art and politics in the SFRY. The "case" of SKC is characteristic of strategies that, after the events of '68, led to the isolation, pacification, and institutionalization of student or youth culture, as well as the creation of the so-called organized alternatives. The focus of this project is on the progressive and critical experiences of art in the 1970s with the aim of finding a genealogy of socio-cultural practices that would show their relevance for the analysis of contemporary cultural production in post-Yugoslav, neo-liberal conditions.
