Judita Šalgo - chronicle
A collage of texts of different genres and created at different times collected in a single collection. The book contains Judith’s very different introspective views of society, literature, and her intimate experience of life. On the other hand, the book is supplemented by interviews with Judith and an intimate review of Zoran Mirković's life spent with Judith.
The book was published within the long-term project 'Permanent Art Hour' (http://www.kuda.org/?q=node/482) of the Center_kuda.org, within which the pages of the omitted history of the neo-avant-garde of the Novi Sad art scene are supplemented. Judith's contribution to the development of a great generation of researchers, artists, and social activists cannot be accurately assessed, so this book intends to increase attention to Judith Shalgo's place in contemporary art practice ex-YU and after that to this day.
Judita Šalgo (1941-1996)
writer, translator, and multimedia artist, in addition to her work, editor of the 'Youth Forum' in Novi Sad in the period from 1969-1971. year, she worked at TVNS and Matica Srpska. Her involvement in program development at the ‘Youth Forum’ influenced many upheavals later in her private and professional life. It was that time that defined the ideological pattern of cultural practice that she dealt with and became an unavoidable point in the reception of contemporary culture in our country.
