The significance to movement and voice work of the specific approach adopted during the workshop is related not only to performer training, but also to the development of one's creative potential. Movement works deals with the inner river of images, flow of conscience, stream of memories and sensations and it is particularly indicated for actors. Participants will develop performing propositions based on personal associations, as they are led through physical training. The intensive and demanding movement and breath / voice work challenges the performers to embrace new perceptions of performance through the awakening of the body. The methodology is referred to the body work developed by Jerzy Grotowski and to principles coming from contemporary dance.
